From Greenville to Glassy Mountain, from Spartanburg to Seneca and every community in between people have turned to one another to lend helping hands and share information.
The famous open-air chapel sits atop Stone Mountain in northern Greenville County. A portion of the structure’s roof was ripped off by Hurricane Helene.
The ban prohibits all outdoor burning, including yard debris in unincorporated areas and includes burning for forestry, wildlife or agricultural purposes.
Executive chef for The Darling, Derick Wade, announced "Darling On The Road" earlier this week. It will provide supplies to those affected by Hurricane Helene, adding West Greenville as a stop.
Conner Hinderks is totaling about 100 miles per day, collecting supplies in Greenville and shuttling them to North Carolina. The key, Hinderks said, is just starting to help.
