The Anchorage, a restaurant located in the Village of West Greenville, will join forces this weekend for a block party with Charleston’s The Darling Oyster Bar Oct. 4.
Executive chef for The Darling, Derick Wade, announced “Darling On The Road” earlier this week. It will provide supplies to those affected by Hurricane Helene, adding West Greenville as a stop. As part of the party, Wade will host a collaborative chef pop-up with The Anchorage’s chef Steve Zurkey.
The block party will run from 3 to 9 p.m. at the Village of West Greenville restaurant. It is a ticketed event with proceeds benefitting the Southern Smoke Foundation and its support of food and beverage industry workers.
The Anchorage is located at 586 Perry Ave. in West Greenville.
