The Countybank Foundation, the charitable giving arm of Countybank and Greenwood Capital, announced June 18 it donated $15,000 to the SC Church of God Home for Children.
The funds will be used to support a planned renovation of four bathrooms in the home.
“We are proud to be able to support these necessary renovations to the home, which provides housing and care for 28 children in need,” said Jack Lucas, Simpsonville market executive for Countybank. “Our associates were also able to volunteer their time to this worthwhile cause by distributing mulch on the property.”
