South Carolina Department of Transportation representatives will discuss a proposed road safety project along Old Buncombe Road in Greenville County at an informational drop-in meeting Dec. 10 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Sans Souci Church, 3100 Old Buncombe Road in Greenville.
The proposed project will reduce the number of lanes on Old Buncombe Road between West Blue Ridge Drive and Buncombe Road from two lanes in each direction to one lane in each direction with a center turn lane.
The project’s purpose is to improve vehicle and pedestrian safety. Anyone interested can learn more on the project website. SCDOT is accepting public input through December at scdot.org/projects/public-comment-notices.
