“Nature Deconstructed” will open Jan. 10 at Spoonbill Gallery in Greenville.
The collaborative exhibit features works by painters Becca Splawn and Shelley Cade, and will be at 1292 Pendleton St. through Feb. 1.

Splawn is a mixed-media artist who creates landscapes on canvas, while Cade uses acrylic and oil paints to create her impressionist skies and expressionist portraits. Both artists created piece for “Nature Deconstructed” to serve as a meditation on nature’s and an individual’s resilience and vulnerability, the gallery said in a news release.
Spoonbill Gallery will hold a First Friday reception from 6 to 9 p.m. Jan. 10 to celebrate the new collection.
