NAR reports 3.4% decline in April existing home sales
The National Association of Realtors announced existing home sales decreased 3.4% in April 2023 when compared to March 2023.
NAR found a 23.2% decrease in home sales from April 2022 compared to April 2023.
NAR’s April 2023 pending home sales numbers by region include:
- Northeast — 1.9% decrease
- Midwest — 1.9% decrease
- South — 3.4% decrease
- West — 6.1% decrease

In the Greenville office, Furman, Nocks and Loveless had the most listings sold, and Coleman and Furman were the top sales agents. In the Clemson office, Hammond had the most listings sold and was a top sales agent. Bostrom also had the most listings sold and was a top sales agent.
