GGAR reports 11.2% increase in July residential listings
The Greater Greenville Association of Realtors announced an 11.2% increase in active residential listings, from 3,365 listings on the multiple listing service on July 10, 2022, to 3,741 on July 10, 2023.
The average residential sales price increased 6.4% year over year from $454,862 in 2022 to $483,849 in 2023, and median residential sales prices had a 1.2% increase from $344,900 to $349,000.
The average number of days on market has increased by 39.6% from 53 to 74.
GGAR also reported 1,184 homes were pending sale and 1,076 units were under contingency contract as of July 10.

Chris Bailey named GGAR chief executive officer
The Greater Greenville Association of Realtors‘ Board of Directors has appointed Chris Bailey as chief executive officer.
Bailey succeeds Nick Sabatine, who retired July 1.
“I could not be more honored to be chosen to lead this organization,” said Bailey. “The members of GGAR are an integral part of the fabric of this community. I am excited to build on an already solid foundation as we work to enhance innovative technologies, education and services for our members. This organization has a vital role to play in the success of our Realtor members and in the quality of life in the Greater Greenville community.”
Bailey has served as the organization’s director of government affairs for over 15 years.

Joan Herlong & Associates Sotheby’s International Realty honors top agents for June
Joan Herlong & Associates Sotheby’s International Realty has announced its top agents for June.
They are:
- Drew Torres
- Grace Herlong Loveless
- Matt Nocks
- Lisa Vogel
- Diane Bostrom
In the Greenville office, Nocks was one of two agents with the most listings sold and Torres was a top sales agent. Loveless also had the most listings sold and was a top sales agent. In the Clemson office, Vogel was one of two Realtors with the most listings sold. Bostrom also sold the most listings in the office and was a top sales agent.

Scott Wilson joined Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices C. Dan Joyner Realtors as a sales associate in the company’s Midtown Office.
He has more than 13 years of experience working in various roles in a community-hospital system.

Adel Forsythe joined Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices C. Dan Joyner Realtors as a sales associate in the company’s Greer office.
She has experience as an interior designer.
