Goodwill Industries of Upstate/Midlands South Carolina has partnered with Greenville Literacy Association to launch a GED Bootcamp.
Running from Feb. 3 through May 22, this 16-week program will be held at Goodwill’s Youth and Family Services Center at 45 E. Main St. in Greenville. Participants will receive personalized instruction, mentorship and career coaching provided by GLA and Goodwill’s expert teams.
“Our partnership with Goodwill is in perfect alignment with our mission to increase literacy and employability of adult learners in our community,” said Victoria Novak, executive director of GLA. “GED Bootcamp, made possible by a generous grant from Power:Ed, allows motivated students to move closer to reaching their education goals and opens new doors of opportunity.”
Goodwill will host informational sessions Dec. 18 from 10 a.m. to noon and 3 to 4 p.m. at its Youth and Family Services Center. For more information, visit goodwillsc.org/ged-bootcamp.
