Euphoria Greenville will host a special event for hospitality workers affected by Hurricane Helene through the Southern Smoke Foundation.
The brunch has been organized by euphoria in partnership with VisitGreenvilleSC. It will be at Larkin’s Sawmill on Oct. 20 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., offering brunch-derived bites and silent-auction items.
Larkin’s Sawmill is near the corner of North Main Street and Rutherford Road at 22 Graves Drive in Greenville. Tickets for the event can be purchased at euphoriagreenville.com/events and donations can be made at lbgde.betterworld.org.
Texas-based Southern Smoke has made waves in the Upstate in the last year as it continues its mission to support food-and-beverage workers. On Oct. 3, West Greenville eatery The Anchorage collaborated on a block party with Charleston’s The Darling Oyster Bar to benefit the foundation.

Popular downtown social lounge Sip GVL held a special event on Oct. 10 to showcase its rooftop facelift.
The downtown lounge is sporting updated furniture and a repositioned outdoor bar toward the corner of the rooftop for easier access and accessibility on crowded nights.
Sip is located at 103 N. Main St. in One City Plaza. It is open Monday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to midnight, Friday from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m., Saturday from 1 p.m. to 2 a.m., and Sunday from 1 p.m. to midnight.

The week of Oct. 7 saw another food and beverage closure at Hampton Station in White Duck Taco. Although the business is leaving the station after seven years, it will reopen downtown. The business made the announcement on social media but did not disclose the upcoming downtown location. The location on Airport Road remains open.

Greenville distillery New South Spirits will host a Cheers to Fall event in collaboration with Hello Greenville Oct. 24. The celebration will be from 5 to 9 p.m. at the 1 Augusta St. location, just downstairs from the corner of Augusta and South Main streets. Highlights include a complimentary pumpkin spice cocktail and discounted distillery tours.
