The Guild of the Greenville Symphony announced Nov. 18 it donated $25,000 to the Greenville Symphony Orchestra.
The funds will be used to support the orchestra’s youth education programs like Lollipops at the Library, EdReach at Greenville County public schools, Once Upon an Orchestra at South Carolina Children’s Theatre and children’s concerts.
For almost 70 years, the Guild has partnered with the GSO and its musicians, including helping with logistics for children’s concerts and other educational events, and supplying meals for musicians during rehearsal days. For more information, visit guildgso.org.
